Cake artist Tan U-Mae established bitter/sweet in 2016 with a vision to create artistic cakes after delving into baking and experimenting with sugar art. Combining her background in fashion design with her artistic family upbringing, she is honoured to work with stylish clients that allows for creative autonomy in creating cakes that elevate all special occasions.

The birth of bitter/sweet’s sister brand Whipped in 2022 expands into on-the-go desserts and snack boxes for everyday cravings. From whole cakes to snack boxes, Whipped desserts are tailored to bring a moment of relaxation and therapy for everyone.
